AGE-ONE was developed after one distinct goal. It should as close as possible sound as the old days tape and disk echo machines, no more no less! No intentions were made to, in any way, make it sound "better". AGE-ONE is the first marketed all electronic version of the tape and disk echo machines, used by practically all guitar players during the 60´s and 70´s.
AGE-ONE is not, in any way to be compared with the various digital delay units and delay pedals, nowadays commonly used by guitar players.
AGE-ONE gives you a warm, living and natural echo sound, imitating the old days tape machines with a fantastic realism.
AGE-ONE has separate loops for connection between guitar and amplifier or connection to an effectloop in any amplifier or PA-system.
AGE-ONE is equipped with a six position selector for selection between six different presets echotypes. All settings can be finetuned with the other four controls.
AGE-ONE fulfills all the demands and suggestions that we have received during the long development time we have spent together with several and famous guitar players who initiated this project.
AGE-ONE is a nice example of technology with a bright and beautiful sound used in an optimum way.

The MXR Custom Comp is built from the finest components available and designed with a blend of modern and classic compressor technology. At the heart of the pedal resides the legendary and rare CA3080 “metal can” IC that delivers increased dynamic range, greater transparency, and quieter operation. In addition, the MXR Custom Shop design team included RF suppression components for interference-free operation, and an internal Attack control that allows fine tuning of the speed of the note’s initial attack. Combined with a TPDT (Triple Pole Double Throw) switch for true bypass and heavy duty pots, the MXR Custom Comp will provide years of high performance live and in the studio.
